 G'day mates (That's Australian for hello), My name is Darrin Schumacher and as you can guess from the introduction, I was born and raised in Australia. It is my honor to serve you this year as Middle School Assistant Principal. Welcome to the Middle School at Gyeonggi Suwon International School (GSIS) and I hope that your time at our school is both academically stimulating and enjoyable as well. Our school motto is "Educating the Whole Child". We believe it is important to provide a top quality education that meets the needs of the students in all areas of their growth. Our dedicated and professional teachers will provide a rigorous academic education that will stimulate the mind of the students. Our physical program and the opportunities to play in team sports, will certainly get the students puffing. The clubs that we have on offer allow the students to explore some of their interests while helping others. The Arts department will provide opportunities for the students to demonstrate their God Given Talents and showcase these to the wider community. We encourage the students to get involved in a variety of activities and get the most out of their time here at GSIS.
